It is factory setup to function in simple applications as IN/OUT time and attendance tracking, canteen control and access control. The IT4100 is a sophisticated programmable terminal capable of performing complex data collection tasks yet easy to use, friendly user machine. The IT4100 functions as employees time and attendance recording, canteen control and access control using preprogrammed internal functions, requiring no additional preparations.

Its wide selection of identification devices, sensors and outputs together with its comprehensive programmability, make it a powerful tool for data collection in administrative, commercial and industrial applications.

TIME & ATTENDANCE + ACCESS CONTROL

IT4042 ACCESS CONTROL TERMINAL

The IT4042 is a programmable stand alone access control terminal. It has a Track 2 magnetic reader (or proximity reader) and a Touch memory reader input to identify its users. The internal IT4042 nonvolatile memory holds a list of identification numbers, that may be used either as an authorized or rejected identification numbers list.

The IT4042 has a serial communication port that enables it to serve as remote reader of an IT4100 or TR-100 terminal or a PC. The addition or deletion of list entries is performed by master magnetic badges or Touch Memories. The master number themselves are programmed into the IT4042 memory through communication. When used as remote reader of the TR-100 or IT4100 programmable terminals, a large and highly reliable access control system may be created, that benefits from the built in redundancy in the PC-IT4100-IT4042 user validation chain.
